Editing & Managing Events

The Event Schedule tab gives you a full view of your organization’s upcoming and past events. From here you can create, edit, and delete events that appear on your Fan Engagement Platform.

Viewing Events

Navigate to the Schedule tab in the left navigation bar to see all events associated with your organization, both upcoming and past.

Creating an Event

To create a new event, click the Create Event button. 1. Event Type Select the type of event you want to create. Two event types are available depending on the nature of the game or event. 2. Event Name Give your event a name for easy internal identification. 3. Date & Time Set the start date and time for your event. By default, the end time will automatically be set to 11:59 PM on the same day — you can override this if your event spans multiple days. 4. Home or Away Select whether your organization is playing at home or away. 5. Opponent Select the league and the opponent your organization is playing against.

Advanced Settings

The following optional fields can be added to enrich the event experience for your fans:

• Venue Name The name of the venue where the event is taking place
• Venue Address The physical address of the venue
• Ticket URL A link to purchase tickets. If provided, a clickable ticket icon will appear on the event in your schedule widget
• Stream URL A link to watch the game online. If provided, a clickable television icon will appear on the event in your schedule widget

Once you’re done filling in the event details, click Save to create the event.

Editing an Event

To edit an existing event, hover over it in the schedule list and click it to open the Event Details popup. From here you can update any of the event’s details. Click Save to apply your changes.

Deleting an Event

To delete an event, open the Event Details popup by hovering over the event and clicking it. Click the Delete button in the bottom left corner of the popup to remove the event.
